Me and My Dad
My Background - I come from a family of scuba divers; my father is a diver and so was my grandfather so I got started at the very young age of about 10 years old and I've been diving ever since! What really got me hooked on diving was the treasure hunting aspect of it and when I first got certified me and my dad would go to party cove and pull up boat loads of beads, sunglasses, and so much more! Around the same time that I got certified for diving I started metal detecting and once I started combining the two it was a game changer! Although finding treasure is always fun what I found to be the most rewarding is when I started locating items for people. Being able to reunite them back together is always an amazing feeling!
Present Day Me with Another Happy Custmer!
My Current Life - Currently diving is my full time job and I wouldn't have it any other way! I'm not getting rich doing recoveries but I absolutely love what I do! In my free time I also volunteer with a dive team called Chaos Divers who search for missing people in vehicles that are underwater. They've been able to bring home 22 lost loved ones to their families and last year we located and recovered John Pisano Jr. who had been missing for 24 years out of Hodgkins Illinois. Although I've recovered close to a thousand lost items and every one of those has its own success story, some of my recoveries stand out more than others and are even very emotional
I always get asked what the most valuable thing I've found is and this giant diamond encrusted gold chain that I found for Jesus is definitely it! It's probably valued over $10,000 but the real value it holds is sentimental. This belonged to Jesus's brother who tragically passed away
This was the most items I've recovered for someone in one dive! I found 3 phones and a wallet after a golf cart crashed into a pond at a golf course. All phones worked perfectly fine as they usually do
This recovery for Aaron was the first drone recovery I did and the important thing wasn't even the drone itself it was the footage that the drone had which contained historical moments of the town that are going to be used in a film competition
Rings are often the most difficult but the most satisfying for me to find especially this gold wedding ring for Bo! It wasn't even his ring it was his son's ring and I actually found it on the day of his son's 3 year wedding anniversary so Bo was able to give him the best gift ever
Although I'm usually recovering smaller things I definitely do my fair share of larger item recoveries for dock furniture and other big objects like this Wet Steps ladder
This tiny gold cross I found for Lucas that was given to him by his grandmother and which he's never taken off since she passed away was one of the hardest yet most rewarding things I've found! It took me hours but when I came up with it tears were definitley shed

I will always be upfront and honest with expectations if I don't think something is retrievable for either logistic or safety concerns
I have very little visibility at the bottom of the lake and I'm usually finding most things by feel so the most important thing for me is having a solid visual reference point of where something was dropped like a specific area of a dock. If I'm not in the right area I can't find your item and it's for this reason that I usually won't do things dropped off boats. Boats tend to move around a lot even when anchored so pinpointing a precise location can be almost impossible.
